City of Broken Arrow Holidays

The City of Broken Arrow establishes a holiday schedule at the start of each year, with the standard holidays observed for the most part. Employees are also given a "floating" holiday which they may take on their own.
 

On City holidays, the City Hall offices will be closed and most employees will have the day off. Police and fire departments, of course, remain open. And, if emergency calls require the services of Public Works crews in water or streets, etc., they will be brought in to fix the emergency.

If a City Council is scheduled for a Monday which is a holiday, it will be moved to the following night. The same is true for other City board meetings.
